In the name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
Introduction
A country’s economic culture and mistaken or incomplete assumptions can keep it from development and from creating wealth for itself and the people of the world.
Mistaken ideas include believing that entrepreneurship means merely producing a product and creating jobs without considering commerce and sales; that becoming wealthy requires theft or violating others’ rights; or that owning a factory means there is no longer any need to design commercial and sales systems. Perhaps worst of all is treating marketing as one of the least worthwhile occupations. Here, however, we do not intend to examine these mistaken assumptions or cultural attitudes.
We intend to discuss practical, real methods of business development for exports: methods you can implement to open foreign markets for yourself or your chosen organization and become a prominent exporter. All these methods have been fully tested in several organizations and their positive results observed. This book does not address abstract or theoretical discussions; it is entirely practical and operational.
Finally, I hope the reader will be able to work successfully in exporting.
